April SD4U Project Sneaks!

I have the pleasure of working with SD4U's Dear Lizzy kit this month. This kit is really delightful... I love the colors in it, and the embellishments are really adorable! Here are some sneak peeks at a couple of my layouts using the kit!

I'll be back in a day or two with my full reveal :)

Just Perfect!

When Allison was 1 week old, we bundled her up and took her for a drive through a beautiful canyon in the area and then out to dinner. My mom and sister were with us which made it all the more special!

This photo was taken just before we went on the drive.

This layout was created with the fabulous SD4U March "Estate Sale" kit. The colors and designs in the kit are just perfect! I believe there are just a few of these kits left, so if you'd like to purchase one hurry on over to the store!

Hi Beautiful, I'm Your Mommy

Hooray, I'm happy to say that this week I was able to complete my first scrapbook page of baby Allison in between feedings, diaper changes, and cuddling :)

This is Allison and me just shortly after she was born. I was so overwhelmed with happiness that I couldn't help but to cry. The first thing I said to her was "Hi beautiful, I'm your mommy".

This layout was created with the fabulous SD4U March "Estate Sale" kit and the design was inspired by a sketch by Liz Qualman.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Introducing Allison Kristine!

YAY!!! Our little sweetheart is here! We are soooooo incredibly happy! YAY!!!

Little Allison decided she didn't want to wait for our March 1st induction appointment. Instead, labor started on its own on the evening of February 23rd. About 48 hours later, at 6:46pm on Thursday, February 25th, Allison Kristine arrived! She weighed 8 pounds, was 20 inches long, and is just as beautiful, sweet, and perfect as could be! Allison and I both had some complications that kept us in the hospital a couple of days longer than normal but I'm happy to say that we are both recovering well! Our little girl is so amazing! Dan and I are truly blessed!

There is sooo much more that I want to share about the labor, delivery, and birth, but right now my time for being on the computer is so very limited and it's all I can do to get this quick post up! I haven't had a chance yet to look through many of the photos that have been taken, but here are a couple that Dan took shortly after birth :)

I am so very happy and thankful and blessed to be Allison Kristine's mommy :)

Well as soon as I get back on my feet and find some time and energy you can be sure that I will be filling this blog with lots and lots of photos and scrapbook pages of our little sweetie pie :)

Thanks for stopping by!
